Jillian Noel Shennessy was born on November 25, 1968 in Canada, is a Canadian actress and musician that was acknowledged for her contribution in American television. The actress has made well-known due to her portrayals as Claire Kincaid in Law & Order and Crossing Jordan. Hennessy is also famous for her outstanding performances in RoboCop 3 Most Wanted. The other films she has appeared in comprise Chutney Popcorn (an independent film) and The Acting Class. Hennessy was first noticed in 1988, alongside her sister, as twin call girls in the film Dead Ringers. In 1990, she made an appearance as a guest on Broadway in the role of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. Then, she moved to sci-fi, and portrayed Dr. Marie Lazarus (RoboCop 3) in 1993. The big break for her was later in the year, when she joined the ensemble of the cult NBC crime show Law & Order as assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid.
