Ann was discovered when she was performing at an event for Vogue's fashion with her group. Within a matter of a few days, editor-in chief Diana Vreeland commissioned Ann to shoot the first Vogue Cover together with photographer Richard Avedon. Ann went onto become one of the most sought-after models ever, with her covers appearing in the most prestigious fashion magazines such as Vogue Bazaar and Cosmopolitan. Ann made her international debut in Europe and Japan following her modeling stint in the fashion magazine Max Factor Revlon.
